Cafe on the island.

I echo the positive reviews. Tomomi and her mom are lovely people and they place great care in preparing meals. The restaurant is cozy and has many handmade goodies to shop for. This is a place to unwind and chat with locals and staff. Your meals are prepared mindfully and are well worth the wait. Joyful travelers have an unhurried gait.

Dropped by for a little break. We had a orange soft cream, local citrus juice and rice ball set. Those were just perfect portion for our condition the time but they also have a lot of options from light food to savoury food on their menu. I like that they try use local ingredients as much as they could:) It was could when we visited but it would have been nice to grab softcream and eat it outside beside the sea.

I went in on a Sunday before sunset and Tomomi welcomed me with a huge smile and friendliness. We had a very engaging and fun conversation and she even let me pinned my country on the map :D I ordered the curry, lemon juice with honey and a carrot cake and it was all delicious. They also sell other package goodies to go. I bought some yummy cookies :D The warmness and kind spirit of Tomomi and her mom, the comfy feeling of the restaurant and the food made me fall in love of the place! I would have loved to stay longer but I had to catch the ferry! I really hope that I can come back again in the future! :)

This was a very special meal and a highlight of our time in Japan. Tomomi was very kind and the place oozing with character and personality. We are vegetarian and although options were limited, the pasta with plants from the garden felt like a fine dining experience for such little cost. Such simple ingredients but so rich of freshness and flavours. Take your time here and enjoy as it was one we won't forget.

Really delicious food that is carefully prepared. It isn’t fast, but if you’re not in a rush, I can’t imagine a better place to eat. The pork, fish, and salad were exceptional. The people leaving one star reviews are whiners.

A magically cute place with the nicest people (mother and daughter). Delicious dishes from local ingredients and a dangerously delicious and exciting set of goods to buy from the shelves. The daughter speaks quite good English.
